We did a bit of a Xmas get together tonight with friends, the Demamiel and the Fitness families.  Just a bit of exchange of Xmas gifts for the kids, a bit of cheer regarding the silly season and loads of drinks - just because.  It was the usual fun-filled night full of talk about happy memories, drunken get togethers (and haven't there been many of those) and even a few tears shed (no mention of names on that one).  We will miss nights like this with our friends but Josh and I will do our best to continue on with this tradition while travelling and try to take unblurred photos in the process so we can post these events with you all!!

We had a bit of a farewell with some of the kids and parents (I should actually just say "good friends") from school today in case we don't catch up with them before we head off.  Thanks to Samantha Garton and family for allowing us all to invade your home and pool for the afternoon.  Thanks also goes to this gorgeous family for taking on our family dog, Sally.  You will see that Sally has really settled into her new home (see the picture below).

Part 2 - Zoe and Samantha attended their last day of "normal" school today. Last day of the year for year 6 kids includes walking through an arch made by all the kids of the school. Both the girls were pretty excited by the fact that, as they too were not coming back in 2013, they too got to walk through the arch. I just made it in time to grab a few happy snaps.

We've finally finished cleaning the house and the tenants moved in today!!  They are a lovely group of people and I'm sure they will have just as much fun in our house as what we've had over the years!!!  Now that the house is sorted and we have no fixed address, it's time to get stuck into the Xmas shopping.  The problem with this is that there is very limited room in the car and caravan for presents for the kids.  I wonder if they would like some fuel vouchers???
