We spent another day doing school work today, much to the
kids’ disgrace. Fortunately they got
through a fair bit of it so very little will need to be done whilst we’re
travelling in the tent. After school, I
took the kids to the pool to test out their new blow up ring and boat. The caravan park is pretty quiet today
compared to a few days ago. I think
people must be clearing out and heading north while there is all this good
weather. Josh continued to pack the car
today, ready to leave our lovely caravan (our “home”) behind, including
unloading the boat ready for storage too.
Zoe got helping with dinner while Sami finished up a bit of school
work. While Josh was cooking the bbq at
the camp kitchen, he again made friends (nothing new there). Our neighbour here was another Dutch couple
who were travelling with their daughter.
We spent this evening getting to know them a little better, but before
too long a big storm hit and the clouds opened up. It wasn’t the light shower that we were used
to either, it was heavy rain this time.
